Although a total respect Tom Venuto as a bodybuilder and health expert, I seriously doubt he believes all those foods are fat burning agents. Some are, but most of those are not.
For the everyday guy that list is a healthy list but not a fat burning list. Now, if you’re lifting a ton of weight at the gym, then I suppose you could be anything.
Do you answer your commentors and how do you handle spammers?If any.
I am not sure about Potatoes !! How about Cabbage , Cauliflower , Garlic , Brocolli ? They are good fat burners too. Try them.

Very interesting post! I think you find and mentioned one of the best fat burning foods. People who want to lose some extra pounds should start their weight loss program by changing all unhealthy and fatty food into these ones. Thanks for the great information!
These aren’t “fat burning” foods per say. They are foods that should be included in your diet. If you read Tom’s book it is clear the formula to fat is Calories in vs calories out. When it comes to adding muscle, macros(percentage of calories coming from different sources((carbs, fats, Protein)) matter. You can lose fat eating nothing but butter as long as your calories are lower than your BMR…I wouldn’t suggest it though.

What a load of crap. There is no such thing as fat burning food. You “burn” fat when you use your body energy, but it also matters how. It’s even more, then calories in, calories out.
