Google Internet Bus Project- Explore The World of Internet!

Google India recently announced the launch of “Google Internet Bus Project” in the state of Tamil Nadu (TN) The project will run over next few months to demonstrate the benefits of using Internet.

Google claims that their main focus is to inform general public how using Internet can make everyday task simple by using tools like Google Search, Gmail, Google Maps and other Google applications.

Google India Blog Says

“The bus is designed to make a simple introduction to the Internet for a new user. With a focus on the four themes of education, information, communication, and entertainment, the Internet Bus will be loaded with useful and informative content in English and Tamil. We’ll showcase how the Internet can make everyday life simple through services like search, email, social networking, maps and others.”

Obviously Google’s goal is to increase their brand name and capture more market share in India. Google already started marketing their products like crazy in India.

Is Apple Computer Listening?

Apple Inc’s recent Iphone launch in India was a disaster. VodaFone and Airtel, Iphone’s official distribution partners could not even sell-out their initial inventory… I’m just wondering if they even covered their hoarding ad cost!

Ignoring Indian market would be real setback for Apple Inc in the future. Overpriced stuffs, “think different” slogan are no more working in India.

Now Apple Inc should think differently and think about India!
