Pixsy.com – New Era Of Pics And Video Viewing

They all are talking about it and you didn’t even know about this site?Â
The idea is to explore the web visually as [tag]Pixsy’s search engine[/tag] claims to combine freshness and relevancy and only returns visual results with a listed source. Â
Pixsy.com does everything when it comes to posting news in words and pictures around the world. To test them, you can punch in any story or title related to the story and you will get the finest results from their search engine.
Now pixsy.com has a balanced mix of information in words, pictures and videos. Not so much that the content is different but the way that you perceive it when you first see the opening page is different.
Pixsy.com presents the news and pictures in thumbnail form. It’s not all hard news though all the time. So the name fits right on it as a “visual search engine” that scours the web for images and videos on RSS feeds and makes them searchable.
The site is supported by contextual [tag]pay-per-click advertising[/tag] and its partnerships, and has future plans for licensing to other companies. Pixsy may have an issue with Firefox.
Maybe some more tweaking will precede a third launch, and that will be the charm for Pixsy.com.
According to some reports, Pixsy’s creators say that between 5 million and 10 million images are already indexed and that number is growing.
