Joe,
I returned a premium white product and confirmed received in Jan 27, 2010. But they have not refunded my card as you claimed the 30-day guarantee. My card customer support, me and Heather, your customer supervisor, where on a 3-way conference and she promised to credit my card $89.63. Up to this date I have not received the refund. Can you help?

Hello all !

I got scammed too (darn...!)

All I wanted where white teeth like the nice 'health' articles proclaimed. Since it's suported by ABC, CBS News and WebMD I trusted them.

The free sample and cheap shipping fee really looked good. BUT, NOT TRUE!!!

All I got was a big pain in the butt!!!

I am still trying to get reimbursed for products I didn't receive and the one I did return.
This company keeps changing phone numbers and email addresses.

They are dealing in North America and abroad. How do we stop them ???

ARGGGGGGGG!!!

I too was hit with this. First I called & canceled any future shipments, and then I got a return authorization number to send back the current shipment that had just been delivered to me. I sent it back via post office with SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION so that I would have proof that they received it. Then I filed a claim with my credit card company (Citi) to get back the money that Dazzle had charged me for the product I had just returned. The credit card gave me a "provisional credit" until Dazzle ok'd the reversal of the $87+ charge. Finally after 1 1/2 months, the provisional (or conditional) credit was finalized and the charges were permanently reversed. I don't know if that was because Dazzle ok'd it or if they ignored it, so then the credit card had to give me the reversal. I think by having PROOF from the post office with Dazzle's signature, that I could send to the credit card, Dazzle had to allow the reversal of the charge.
I was an idiot and was taken in by the ad that said don't buy any tooth whitener until you "try what I did", which was using Dazzle and another one (I forget the name, Clean-something?), one after the other, for best results! And I ordered both for both my hubby and me, so then I had 4 charges to cancel, etc.

THIS IS WHAT HAS WORKED FOR ME:

IF YOU GET FOOLED BY THIS DON'T MAKE MORE WORK FOR YOURSELF THAN YOU HAVE TO. DON'T BOTHER ARGUING WITH DAZZLE WHITE AND JUMPING THROUGH ALL THEIR RETURNS POLICY HOOPS. GO STRAIGHT TO THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT OF YOUR BANK AND CLAIM BACK ANY CHARGES YOU'VE INCURRED...AS FOLLOWS:

1. CALL YOUR BANK. ASK TO SPEAK TO THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT. SAY THAT THERE HAVE BEEN TRANSACTIONS WHICH YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE AND DID NOT AUTHORIZE. YOU MUST STATE THIS CATEGORICALLY. DO NOT GO INTO ALL THE DETAILS OF WHAT YOU DID AND HOW YOU GOT SUCKERED IN- THERE'S NO NEED. BEFORE CALLING PREPARE A LIST OF ALL THE RELEVANT TRANSACTION WITH DATES THEY CAME OUT.

2. THEY WILL SEND YOU A CLAIM FORM. YOU MUST SIGN IT & SEND BACK. YOUR CARD IS CANCELED AND A NEW ONE SENT OUT. YOU ARE REFUNDED PROMPTLY- TAKES 3-5 DAYS IF YOU'RE BANK IS HALF DECENT.

3.PHONE DAZZLE WHITE ON 888-264-5497 AND CALMLY ASK THEM TO CANCEL (AND GET A CANCELLATION NUMBER- IF FOR ANY REASON THEY RESIST TELL THEM YOU HAVE ALREADY PASSED THEIR DETAILS TO THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT OF YOUR BANK. THEN THEY WILL GIVE YOU IT) AND ALSO THE NUMBER TO CALL SO YOU CAN CANCEL THE SUPER WORLD FIT SUBSCRIPTION OR WHATEVER AFFILIATE PRODUCT IT IS YOU 'SIGNED UP' FOR (IT SEEMS TO KEEP CHANGING). KEEP THEIR CANCELLATION EMAILS SAFE.

DAZZLEWHITE/SMILEBRIGHT/ULTIFRESH ARE ON THE VISA EARLY WARNING SYSTEM. BANKS KNOW ITS FRAUD. THEY WILL HAVE TO REFUND YOU. DON'T ACCEPT NO AS AN ANSWER. ANY 'AGREEMENT' YOU MADE WITH DAZZLEWHITE ISN'T WORTH THE PAPER ITS (NOT) WRITTEN ON.

THAT IS HOW YOU MAKE A FRAUD CLAIM. DON'T SPEND AGES TRYING TO ARGUE WITH DAZZLEWHITE- YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET ANYWHERE AND THERE'S NO NEED TO BOTHER SENDING PRODUCTS BACK TO THEM EITHER. THIS METHOD ALSO GETS DAZZLEWHITE IN MORE TROUBLE AND OFF-LOADS THE HASSLE ONTO YOUR BANK- WHICH IS HOW IT SHOULD BE. DON'T TAKE THE MEEK AND MILD ATTITUDE HERE. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS AND DESERVE AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE FILING FRAUD CLAIMS AGAINST THEM.

Also got scammed by Premium White. Paid $200 for a useless pen which does not work. Initially I thought it was on trial for $12. When I did not return this I was billed nearly $90, then ten days later, another $90. I was sent a second parcel which I IMMEDIATELY sent back to the Australian address, but of course the money was never reimbursed, and if I ring I get fobbed off.

PLEASE DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THIER PRODUCT IS USELESS AND IF THEY GET HOLD OF YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER THEY WILL CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU. I HAD TO CANCEL MINE

I am another person scammed by "Premium White". I noticed the charge on my card within 2 days and called their customer no-service number. I had to pay $14 to send the trial product back overnight with a tracking number; I immediately cancelled my credit (debit) card. For the last 2 months I have been trying to get my refund (they never sent any product). They are now saying that since my card they charged is cancelled, and the credit back to it was rejected by my bank, that they do not have any other way to pay me and I should dispute it with the bank (who never received any funds from them!). The last CSR was a real b---- and kept talking over my explanation with no intent of helping or caring, and hung up on me.

Which BBB do I contact to register a strong complaint. The address I had for Premium White was in Aurora, Colorado, but the CO BBB had no listing of them.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. At this point, it is not just the money, but satisfaction of doing some small part to make these scammers pay. Thanks.

Hi Lori,

make sure you have cancelled all the companies individually, then wait for the bbb to suggest what to do. Dazzle smile will probably try and brush it off and give some excuse, just write back saying no you are not happy with their esponse and you want a refund. This worked for me. Good luck huni x

Hi Linda, I hope I can help you get some if not all of your money back. First you need to ring up the original company that you ordered the product from (in my case dazzle smile) and you need to cancel your membership with them and ask them to send you a confirmation of cancellation through email. (If you ordered two products make sure they are both cancelled).

2 Tell your credit card company to monitor your account and to dispute any charges that go out from now on (however you will not be able to use your credit card – what i did was tell them i will not be using it so any money going out is unauthorised).

3. Find out from Dazzle smile what other companies/affiliates your are signed up to (in my case it was dazzle smile postage and packaging charge(healthsmile $11.90 appeared on my statement),dazzle smile (pristine health on my statement $87.62) and world club fitness(Elitepack $24.82 on my statement)then also ring these companies and get a cancellation number and keep hold of it. I think health smile and pristine health are both dazzle smile but the one you really need to cancel is elite pack (this is the website login in my case -which I never even received.
Dazzle smile did give me another company which I may have been signed up to called ezykit (no money actually went out from this company but the woman said i could be signed up to it. So if you can find a number for this company ring them to make sure you aren’t signed up. Once you have done all this, these companies can not take any money out of your bank as you have cancellation numbers.

4. If not done already, send your parcel back with the number they ask for on the package and keep a note of it yourself, then send it recorded delivery and make sure you get a tracking number (that way you can track it and know when they have got it) in my case I did not do this and it took a lot longer to get my money back because I only had proof of postage.

5. Ring dazzle smile in a few days tell them you have returned it back and have a tracking number. They will probably tell you that refunds will get processed every 2 weeks. Get a date from them that you refund should go in, wait until the day after that date, if no refund contact the Better Business Bureau (trading standards in America) and explain everything you have done and state what you want from them. (I told them i had returned the parcel and wanted a refund). Dazzle smile replied and said I needed a tracking number (which I did not have) and to send the parcel back. Explain to the BBB that you are not happy with dazzle smiles answer and state again that you want a refund of ALL charges taken (except p+p as they will not refund this) then the BBB will contact dazzle smile and explain that you are not happy with their response and in my case dazzle smile must have got fed up of replying and just replied ‘we have refunded the money back into your account it should be in your account within 5-7 business days. They refunded it within 2 days.

Please let me know if this is any help to you, I hope it is and i hope you get your money back like I did, if I can help just one person get a refund then I will be more than happy. You just have to keep pressing dazzle smile but do it through the BBB because companies are scared of them and will just refund. Please let me know how you get on and please email back if you need to know anything else.

I cancelled with dazzlesmile wtihin 20 minutes of the purchase, have a confirmation number and sent 15 pages worth of documentation to my credit card company and they want me to call 3 companies and try to cancel my account. I have contacted the BBB and done everything I can. do you have any suggestions?

I too have been 'had over' by these people... I jumped at the chance for the 14-day free trial... admittedly I didn't read the T&Cs until afterwards, I did receive an eMail that said the item was desptached and my trial had begun... after 10 days (not received item) I called and cancelled, they said I had 14 days from start of trial (date the order was placed) to return the item... I explained I hadn't received the item so they agreed an extra 5 days for the item to be returned.
I explained that I was going away for a month and that by the time of the arrival (5 days before I did go away) I would not have had the 14 days trial.... same old spiel.. you have 14 days from start of trial to return the item or we charge you $87 ...
I said there was no way I can get the item back to them in the timescale... received an eMail stating that my acocunt had been cancelled, no further charges etc...

I immediately contacted my credit card, explained the situation and remarkably.. I am still liable for the costs as I gave out my credit card information.

I paid the full balance of my card, cut it into lots of pieces, told the credit card company that there were no further charges approved by me and that I wanted to close the account..

And whilst away on holiday for 1 month the charges started to hit, worldhealth and pristinehealth.

I have disputed these with my credit card, refused to pay them, they have now frozen the card, but still claim I am liable for the costs... I argued that I told them in advance that there were no further charges approved, and to cancel the account, therefore, any costs were at their fault and not mine...

I'm still in dispute, my card account has been referred to 'collections'.. I have sent them the eMails, have sent back the product albeit after the 14 days..

So frustrating.... but then not sure which is more frustrating, my credit card, sorry.. I meant EX credit card company for allowing the charges, or Dazzle Ripoff White Dot com.

Aaaaggghhhhh...

Please beware of these scamsters !
