Review of Butterfly Reports – Real Disappointment

Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Reports – Another Way to Lose Money!

Few months back well known marketing guru Mike Filsaime launched a new viral marketing membership site called “Butterfly Reports“. It’s a typical Butterfly membership site where you can join for free and get series of threatening up-sells. (like if you don’t upgrade your membership you’ll die by heart attack! etc)

Infact the idea behind Butterfly reports is slightly innovative. Mike would give you free viral reports which you can give away to your website visitors for free. The free report will have affiliate link to related ClickBank and PayDotCom.com products… so whenever someone buys the product through the report you’ll earn commission because it will have your affiliate link encoded.

The problem is, if you are an free member you only get 25% credit… the remaining 75% goes to Mike and his gang. But if you are an paid member (gold or platinum) you get 100% of the credit. Mike and gang were never confident of making real money with the sales made through the report. That’s the reason they urge you to upgrade your membership.

One could become platinum member by paying $247 annually; it’s $29 per month for gold members. It’s all good for the buyers if they really got something in value. Today I logged into the site (I’m free member) to see how the things are going. Currently there are about 100 reports available which you can distribute for free. Except 3-4 professionally written reports rest are pure garbages! I’m just wondering if anyone would buy some product after reading such a poor quality free reports.

Personally I’m safe because I haven’t paid $247…but what about 1000′s of others who paid 250 bucks? What about others who are paying 29 bucks each month….of course Gold members can still stop their subscription and get some relief. But more or less 1000 people paid $247… they are not getting real value for their money… LOSERS!

I still have to find a single positive response for Butterfly reports (IE feedback from people who actually made money by spreading the free reports) NOT from affiliates who are pushing the product to earn commission.

Overall Mike and his gang banged few hundred thousand dollars…see how easy it’s to make money online! :P

Conclusion: Guru’s make money by HYPE…. you’ll start making money once you stop buying stuffs from the Gurus :)

Yep. Mike and company are really POS’s. I think you can figure out what the letters stand for :-) Real slimeballs, those guys.

  2. Well I am a platinum member and I see butterfly reports as a opportunity, especially for new writers who are looking to gain exposure, and make money from clickbank products.

What I have observed at the butterfly reports website:

    1) Alot of the reports suck! That mean opportunity to shine with your quality reports.

    2) Not many people are adding new reports. This means that you can stand out in the crowd when you submit some really great reports.

    3) Reports are being downloaded by people thousands of times. Can you see how quickly a report with good content could quickly go viral?

If you are a writer, I would seriously consider butterfly reports so you can become well known.

I was a sucker and bought into MF’s Butterfly reports. I have been trying to find/discover a report worth giving away. Not only that, but after being platinum member – I am having a really hard time finding a report with 100% affiliate links to me. Most books have like 14 “fixed” links, which are placed in the layout in good locations, while my personal affiliate links(10 or less) are at the footers of the pages and not attractive at all. I see BFR forum has 18,000+ members and very little activity. Remember this – MF does not care – your loss, his gain. Mike used to be a used car salesman before converting to the Internet. Pure slime mold is crawling the net. If you ever do anything with him – your E-mail account will be filled with SPAM.

Hopefully, his accounts were raped in the economic collapse. I have purchased other items from MF. They all suck and never seem to be completely (full of bugs – IE, Hyper Plugin) supported to generate a income for the purchasing public. BEWARE of Mike Filsaime. Be grateful that there is a truthful review here! I wish I would have seen this before losing my $ and $upporting MF’s efforts to screw more people with more crap software and cheap scape methods.

Well done guys. Professional Bagging is a hard act to follow. Though I cannot dissagree, with any of the negatives stated here about the prime target, I personally had no joy with any of dotcoms products or services. “Leech off paypal” is the phrase which comes to mind, about said target of the above bagging campaign I have just read. “slimeball seems an apt description. As for car salesmen – well, slime comes close to describing them and their breed. Perking meter attendant is closer, Nark is probably a character match – no ethic, values, integrity or class, – they will do ANYTHING to make a buck – poor people – feel SORRY FOR THEM, aqnfd thank god you are not like or don’t end up like that!. This is all I will say here as I do not like criticising others much – this comment is the one exception for me in a very long time

If that’s the case, where can I find product that I’m able to give to my subscriber for opting into my list ? any recommendation ?
